You're not Locke, What are you?

With this season being the final season, we just don’t know what to expect.  All bets are off now, anything can happen and anyone can die!

I still can’t get my head around John Locke being dead;  I always thought he’d make it to the end.  With all of his survival skills, getting his legs back and being such a believer; a man of faith, well I suppose I thought  he’d end up with Jacob or would replace Jacob.  It was so obvious there was a connection between John and the Island.  Besides getting his legs back in the crash, remember when Richard visited him as a young boy he had a drawing of the smoke monster, well those memories or thoughts of the monster came from somewhere. Locke’s death just shows us to expect the unexpected.

Now we have Flocke or Smokey, don’t you find it hard to look at him and not see the real John? Yet, Sawyer knew it wasn’t John immediately.  I guess it’s true you can’t con a con.  Why do you suppose Sawyer went with Flocke?  Were you surprised by Sawyer’s decision?  I think he went for two reasons: first being the obvious one, to find reasoning for Juliet’s death and  why is he really there and the other to figure out who or what this Flock is and wants.

I still haven’t figured out who’s good and who’s evil, Flocke sure makes it seem like Jacob is the bad one. He insinuates that Jacob took away their chance of free will when he touched them making it their destiny to end up on the island.  But how much of what he tells Sawyer can we believe?  Flocke also told Sawyer that he’s been trapped for so long that he doesn’t know how it feels to be free and that he was once a man.  So what is he now?  He then shows Sawyer the cave with all the names wrote on the ceiling with a number by each name.  Where or how did Jacob or Smokie come up with these numbers and what do they represent?

Flocke also said they were all there because they are candidates to take over Jacob’s job protecting the island from nothing.  That means Jacob always knew how and when he was going to die. So how many times do you think Jacob and Flock/Smokey have done this? Who is Jacob protecting the island from and why? Flocke/Smokey then tells Sawyer he has three choices:

1. Do nothing and just see how everything plays out that maybe  Sawyers name will get crossed off. But how can his name get crossed off if Jacob is dead?

2. Accept the job and protect the island from nothing

3. We just go and get off the island and never look back, at which Sawyer says hell yes too.

Don’t you think that cave is really where Flocke/Smokey  lives or lived, and that all the names and numbers were his candidates because he needed a body? That’s why none of the names are women’s, after all he told Sawyer he was once a man.  Jacob was living in the statue. Remember that’s where Richard took Flocke when he demanded to meet Jacob. Flocke is trying to con Sawyer.

Flocke told Richard he looks like John Locke because John was a candidate. Richard asks a candidate for what? Flocke says you mean Jacob never told you?  I wouldn’t have done that to you.  Come with me and I’ll tell you everything.  Richard told Flocke  I’m not going anywhere with you and took off  towards the temple.  Ilana told Ben that Flocke is recruiting and that he’s stuck in John Locke’s body.

Is Flocke recruiting for the war that Widmore said is coming?  Does everyone on the island have to die before Flocke/Smokey can leave the island?  Has Jacob been protecting the island from Smokey?  I think so.  I also think Jack will be Jacob’s replacement.

Don’t worry about Sawyer, he isn’t really going to help Flocke/Smokey, he’s just running the long con. Remember, you can’t con a con
